PRP for hair loss is a treatment utilising a biological product prepared from your own blood. The platelet rich plasma contains growth factors, proteins, nutrients, vitamins, hormones and electrolytes which speed up tissue repair and regeneration.
Through breaking apart the plasma, the cellular components of the blood including the red blood cells and leucocytes are removed and it is these that inhibit the repair and regeneration process.
The treatment increases hair density, make your hair thicker and helps reduce hair loss.
You should beging to see improvements within the hair within 3-4 months with hair growth continuing to grow in a number of patients over 6 months.
PRP can be combined with other hair loss treatments including tablets suchs at finasteride or hair loss solutions such as minoxidil. Many of our clients who have had hair transplants previously continue to have this to increase density.
We have seen amazing results with all clients including clients who have suffered from alopecia.
So how does it work?
A small quantity of the your own blood is collected and then treated in a centrifuge to separate the platelet-rich-plasma from the red blood cells.
The plasma is then injected in a specific way into your scalp. This is not invasive and relatively painless with light swelling possible.
A treatment course is recommended which we can discuss with if you arrange a free consultation.
PRP for hair loss is a safe treatment with no risk of infectious disease transmission. As PRP is prepared from your own blood, adverse reactions are rare.

Low level Laser hair treatment is a safe, non-invasive and proven treatment for stimulating hair follicles to grow fuller and thicker hair.
It is also known as red light therapy. At Aspire Hair Studios we have powerful high-strength laser devices which can treat hair loss, pattern baldness and alopecia for both men and women. L
It is a prcoedure that most clients have instead of an hair transplant but also continue to have it after.
So how does it work?
The laser lights are used on a low level which irradiates photons into the human tissue, allowing them to be absorbed by cells that are weaker in order for them to regain their strength.
Once this has occured, the cells are given the opportunity to regain functionality, returning to their regular processes such as hair growth.
To aid new growth and the maintenance of existing hair, the laser treatment increases blood flow to the scalp which if worked with minoxidil can work wonders.
Why low level laser treatment?
Most people will lose over 100 hairs from the scalp daily but for most people they grow back.
However, in certain cirumstances they do not and their are contributing factors including:
- Age
- Stress
- Nutrition
- Medical conditions/treatment
The main reasons our clients choose this treatment is because it is non-invasive, pain-free, no side affects whatsoever and it is convenient.
What about results?
As with all hair loss treatments, results are depdendant on the person and will vary rom each. with some of our clients seeing hair growth rapily, others may have to wait a little longer. To see improvements from low level laser treament you need to be consistent and to start as earlier as you can to regrowth and strengthen the hair.
HR4 Treatment
HR4 treament helps with hair loss at it stimulates the hair follicles. We add a special serum to the scalp which helps the follicle become stronger and helps with regrowth of new hair.
No matter what has caused hair loss, this is safe, non-invasive and is recommended to start as soon as hair loss begins.
